Stéphanie Baulac from the Brain and Spinal Cord Institute (ICM)
Stéphanie Baulac is co-supervisor of the “Epilepsy genetic and physiopathology” ICM team which focuses on the fight against an unusual and severe type of children epilepsy.
This epilepsy is caused by cortical focal dysplasia which is a rare cerebral cortex development malformation.

Luc Dupuis from Inserm
Luc Dupuis is Inserm 1118 Research Unit’s manager which focuses on central and peripheric neurodegeneration, including Charcot disease.
The researcher and his team have been recently awarded by the Bettencourt Prize for their works on Charcot disease, by demonstrating that the disease could be slowed down by fighting patient weight loss, first degeneration symptom.
